As a Frère Jacques Franchisee you benefit significantly by setting up and operating to a format that has been extremely well tested, the core business in Cheltenham having been proven and perfected over almost four years prior to the franchise becoming available.

Your single most important advantage, however, is that the splendid selection of patisserie – upon which your reputation will be built - is delivered to you each morning, as are all the other freshly-baked items.

Consistent product quality may be depended upon, therefore, and you certainly will not have to have your own production facility or worry about finding specialist staff.

…but one disadvantage for the time being
All Frère Jacques patisserie is prepared at our Central Production Unit which is strategically located in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, near the M5 motorway. From here, our delivery vehicles set out early every morning, Monday to Saturday (except Christmas and bank holidays), so as to be at each Frère Jacques outlet by opening time. This obviously puts a limit to the distance within which we can efficiently serve our Franchisees and consequently we cannot at present make franchise proposals beyond a radius of approximately 75 miles from Tewkesbury.

However…
The regions we can serve include virtually all of the Midlands (north, south, east and west), Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, South Wales, Bristol and part of the south-west, and part of the M4 and M40 corridors.
